IN CROATIA..
If you, on the other side, choosePula or Rijeka as your first destination in Croatia instead of Zagreb, you still have to arrive to Zadar earlier then 5 or 6.30pm in order to be able to take a last ferry to the island (see time line bellow).
From Pula or Rijeka to Zadar, you can take a boat or a bus coach, and if you have an extra time on hand, it is truly a memorable trip to be taken.
A direct flight from Luton Airport in London, England to Zadar is also a very convenient option. However, the flights to Zadar have to be fine tuned as they are not as frequent as those to Zagreb.
Many people find it convenient to spend a night or two in one of those cities (including Zadar) before they continue their trip.
From Zadar to Iz Island To get to Iz Island from Zadar, you will need to take ferry or a boat from the Zadar harbor. You can purchase the ticket on the ferry/ boat or at the “Jadrolinija” office near the harbour.
