Hellinger Canada is a non-profit group whose sole intent is to continue to support Bert Hellinger his work and approach in Canada. The connection with Bert Hellinger started in June 2000 when a workshop was organized through Hellinger Canada at Saint Paul University in Ottawa. The work in Canada has since then been maintained in a rather quiescent form, but in the last two years several developments have allowed us to establish the work more solidly and we have had the benefit of visits from psychotherapists familiar with Hellinger's work and allow us to continue to experience and learn. Several facilitators familiar in the format of the work have now visited Canada and created an interest in several cities namely Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and White Horse. The long-term goal would be to create sub-units of interested groups where the work of Hellinger can be promoted for the benefit of the local communities.

Systemic Family Solutions
Family Constellations are an effective way of revealing unconscious entanglements with the fates of family ancestors. Events such as the premature death of a parent or sibling, the exclusion of a family member, a murder of or by a family member, or victimization of others by a family member can all lead to entanglements which disturb one's life and relationships. Severe consequences may result, such as feelings of isolation, depression, mental and physical illness, accidents, and even suicidal thoughts or attempts.
